A rare, collector-grade lathe cut 7” capturing the unmistakable Chicano soul sound of With Strangers, a group rooted between Orange County and East Los Angeles. Produced in extremely limited numbers, these direct-to-disc recordings were mastered and cut by Felipe Navarro Delgadillo at All Welcome Records in Los Angeles, California, making each copy a true artifact of Southern California’s modern soul underground.

Side A: “A Love That’s Gone”
Written by Carlos Angel Mora, this slow-burning soul ballad is presented here in a remixed version with a more natural room feel, allowing the warmth of the band’s performance and horn arrangement to breathe with greater depth and intimacy. Originally recorded at All Welcome Records studio in Inglewood, California in 2020. A remix was completed in 2026 by Felipe Navarro Delgadillo, giving the track a more open, live character while preserving the emotion of the original performance. Recorded at All Welcome Records and produced by Felipe Delgadillo and Diego Villaseñor, the recording channels the timeless romance and melancholy that define classic Chicano soul.

Side B: “If Only”
Written by Elliott Borboa and Diego Villaseñor, “If Only” is one of the group’s most recognized songs, widely known from its performance featured on The Recordium YouTube channel in 2018. Built around heartfelt vocals, organ swells, soulful horn lines, and a steady rhythm section accented with congas and tambourine, the track captures the band’s signature blend of vintage soul feeling with modern West Coast musicianship.

Cut directly to disc and released as a lathe-cut 7” exclusive, this record preserves the immediacy and character of the original performances. These records are not mass produced, but instead created in small quantities for dedicated collectors who appreciate high-quality music presented in limited numbers.
